mushrooms, sliced

hard cheese (like Parmesan or Gruyère), grated
Salt and black pepper, to taste

fresh herbs for garnish

Step 1.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Spread the grated cheese evenly on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Step 2.
Arrange the mushroom slices on top of the cheese in a single layer.
Sprinkle lightly with salt and black pepper.

Step 3.
Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden.
Let cool to crisp up, then serve with a white herby sauce.
