ground turkey

finely chopped herbs

For the mushroom sauce:
3 cups
white mushrooms, finely chopped
1 cup
heavy cream
1/2 cup
water
1/4 cup
unsalted butter
1/2 tsp
salt

finely chopped onion

sage leaves, finely chopped
1/8 tsp
black pepper
Fresh parsley for garnish
Recipe

Step 1.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Spray hands with oil, shape mixture into 3 cm meatballs.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, spray with oil and cook meatballs 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.

Step 2.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic for 2 minutes until translucent.

Step 3.
Add mushrooms and sage, cook 5-6 minutes until tender.

Step 4.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add cream and water, simmer 5-7 minutes until thickened.

Step 5.
Return meatballs to skillet, simmer 5-7 minutes until heated through.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
